Our Philosophy

World Karate is a learning center for physical and mental growth through martial arts training. A student’s focus, self-discipline, and confidence are dramatically improved in addition to the physical benefits of better balance, flexibility, strength, and fitness. Scholastics, classroom discipline, and performance in sports other than the martial arts are improved as a result. For young students, setting high goals, applying the work ethic to achieve them, and not quitting until they are reached are taught. These are life skills that positively affect every facet of a young person’s development. Studies verify this fact with documented improvement in grades and classroom behavior.

Honor shown to those who deserve it

Our Creed

My goals as a student in this Dojang are thus:

  • To build confidence through knowledge in mind, honesty in the heart, and strength in the body
  • To maintain brotherhood and friendship with my fellow students.
  • To practice discipline in mind, body, and spirit.
Above all, to achieve these goals I must develop the determination to never quit.

Peace over power.
